This picture of a glass lamp in my parents' room was taken on the Sunday before school got back. T edit it, I added a filter that I can't find even now and edited the color balance. My favorite thing about this picture is the chrome look to it. It looks like an expensive metal. I wish I could lighten the hood around it, as it takes away from the light balance.

ReplyDeleteI love how the light and shadows are so blended together, as it creates a ethereal effect.
The subject is very interesting, especially with the deep shadows in the patterns of the lamp.
I also love how the binds are slightly faded, bringing the viewers eye more to the sharp details of the lamp.
The one thing I would change would be to tilt the picture so the lamp would be entirely vertical.
Other than that, great picture!
