Jay J- American Flag
This picture is of the American flag. I took it in my math class. This picture was for the color assignment. I enhanced the picture and used auto contrast. Also I used a filter from the artistic section which was dry brush.
The picture looks really cool. The edits that you made to this picture really help the picture stand out from the rest. I think that one thing that you could improve is the focus. The object in the picture is the flag, but the background of the picture seems to become intertwined with the flag. So, it seems like the background is part of the flag itself. Also, the background really takes the emphasize out of the flag. But, I like the color tone that you have used in the picture. It seems appropriate for the scene that you are trying to portray, Overall, this is a very good photo. -Hemin N.--HHS
I really like this picture, for many reasons! One, Because I am very patriotic. Then the other reason is because of the way you edited it! It is super GREAT! the colors look really good, and the quality ( I Guess you could call it) is really cool... but i think it could be alittle different, and look great just as well! Mariah M.-HHS
I really like your picture! I always like anything patriotic and especially like the stars on this flag. Using the dry brush filter was a great choose. I think it might have been a little better if more of the blue had shown by the stars, but it still looks great!
This is a really awesome picture. I like the dry brush filter that you applied which makes the flag more unique rather than a picture of a plain, normal flag. The upward angle from which you took the image was really good too. The only thing I would change is cropping in a little more on the flag so the wall isn't in the image but it's still a great picture. Josh V-HHS
I actually don't think this picture is patriotic at all. The dry brush makes it look blood-stained, like America has killed many. It's an interesting picture for that reason. Also, there is no blue, another interesting concept. The vertical stripes contrast well with the horizontal lines on the wall. I like it!
This photo is very interesting, however I feel like the color scheme is bland and the colors are simply over-contrasted. Also I think the composition should either be a close-up or capture the entirety of the subject.
I really like this photo! The distortion of the colors makes it look really cool! You could have had more light to make it better.
