This is a photo that I took outside of my church. I saw that this was the only flower in a patch of ivy, so I zoomed in and got the best focus on it. I edited the photo with by changing it to black and white but keeping color on the flower and cropping. I used the photo for the Day and Night assignment and I shared this photo because I really like how the flower pops with color right in the center of the frame.
I like the exposure of the flower. It puts alot of focus on it because of the black and white background. The balance of the flower works perfectly for this. I like it, would put this as my wallpaper.
ReplyDeleteThis is a very nice picture. I love how you used layers to make the leaves black and white. It make the pink and green really stand out. I also like how the green part looks fuzzy. It has nice saturation and the sun spots make it look bright.
ReplyDeleteI like how the flower really pops out at you. The background is a little out of focus but they may have been you did to it. I like how you used rule of thirds and didn't just center it. I like how it kinda has a leading line that draws your eye to the to the top of the flower.
