Joshua N- Bloom

I took this image in my backyard around April 4th, and it is of some flower my mom planted. I took it with my iPhone 16 pro, and I edited it with a couple things. I increased the saturation, increased the contrast, blacks, and made it brighter. I also made it a lot sharper so you can see the individual petals, as well as increasing the clarity. I think that it would be better if it was more focused at the beginning, but I am happy with the final result.

  1. The vibrant color contrast and sharp detail in this photo create a visually compelling image—especially the clarity of the petals and the fine texture on the stem. The post-processing work brings out the natural beauty of the bloom in a striking way.

  2. This is a really neat photo! The bright color of the flower stands out really well, and the drops of water add even more interest to the picture. I like how the blurred background and the close up of just the flower draws attention to the subject. MB- HHS

  3. Awesome job capturing detail on the flower! It almost looks like a cactus, and I love the eye for abstract you have in terms of the plant. Your editing really brought it out. Great work.

  4. I like how well you captured the water droplets. it shows a nice amount of detail while still being able to tell what it is. the background could have been better but overall a great photo.
