Caroline L- Misty Rose

This is “Misty Rose.” It was taken in my front yard during April with my NIKON camera. I edited it by using the Camera Raw filter on Photoshop, and adding a blur to the background, giving the flower a hazy effect. I also used photoshop to correct the tilt of the picture. It could be better if the bud in the top right corner was less distracting.

  10. I love the way the sunlight hits the flower, and the flower bud in the background really makes the image beautiful. I love the cool colors in the background and the warm color of the flower in the front and center; it really makes the colors pop. I would suggest using the object selection tool and selecting the flower and sharpening it. But I love the haze effect on the background, great photo! -A.K.M. -HCS
