Jacob C- Far from the City

I entitled this photo “Far From the City” because you can’t get a view like that from the city. It was taken during spring break at Laguna Beach. It was taken with my iPhone 6 and I didn’t edit it that much. I increased the contrast and messed with the level and curve adjustments. I think it could have been a little better if I was close to the ocean but other than that I like how it turned out.

    I really like this shot and I like the coloring in the image. I like how the sun is barely coming through the sky and the beach is darker so the focus is on the sky. Overall, I really like this picture.

    This picture is very unique. It looks like something that would be a cover of a book or movie. I love how most of the sky is dark except that one part of the sky where the light is shining from. This photo gives off a mysterious vibe. The photo is very well balanced and edited. When you first look at the picture you are instantly drawn by the main subject.
