Reed W- Every Rose Has Its Thorn


I took this picture for the Still Life project. The rose is originally a marigold, but I increased the contrast and altered the hue and bumped up the saturation. I also used filters and texturized the background and used the Dark Strokes filter.

    I really like this photo. The use of lighting and stark contrast makes the photo feel very dramatic. However, it's a little too dark overall in my opinion.
